Delivery

ORDERING

Most people chose to email matt@thebordeauxcellar.co.uk and I respond with an invoice for payments to be made, either by Bank Transfer ('BACS') or cheques (made payable to ‘The Bordeaux Cellar’). These are my preferred methods of payment for all sales, and the only way you can buy 'In Bond' (IB) cases. However, additionally, I can accept Pay Pal payments which can be made with all credit/debit cards and other methods online, but charges will be added. You don't need to have a PayPal account. I do not accept credit cards over the phone, though Pay Pal can process all card payments.

If you require cases that are In Bond (IB), En Primeur (EP), or you require me to ship worldwide, please email me and I will process your order correctly. For any Worldwide shipments please contact me and I will advise.

All wines are shipped in mailsafe cartons or Original Wooden Cases (OWC's)

CHARGES

There is NO Minimum order.

All UK mainland deliveries from the TBC cellar are charged at £12+VAT but free for orders over £400 (not inc VAT).

Worldwide deliveries are quoted separately on each order, as are UK deliveries from wines held In Bond @ London City Bond.

They will be delivered or transferred In Bond by LCB and charged at cost.

Occasionally, I do drop off wine to local customers free of charge (I'm now in the Hastings Rye area). This does depend on a number of factors - mainly where I'm going that day - but it's worth asking as, if I can do it for you, it makes a nice saving!

Absolutely NO wine will be provided to anyone under the age of 18

RETURNS

As any wine drinker will know, the occasional wine bottle will be flawed.

In the unfortunate circumstance of this happening with one of TBC bottles, I will need it to be returned before I can replace it or refund the money.

Please be aware that as I don't keep huge stocks, brands can quickly sell out, making it sometimes impossible for me to replace like for like.

However, I always try and be reasonable with these matters, even though I'm not able to be refunded myself from the Chateau or negociant.

I can guarantee that all stocks owned by TBC have been well cellared since coming under my control.

This is essential for me as I drink them too and use the stock for regular tastings etc!
